Software Development

In most IT Support jobs I have also done some form of development, whether this has been something like Stock Control using  Google Sheets or using more advanced programming such as C++ and/or Java.  Below is a summary of some of these projects:-

School IT Stock -  Written using Google sheets, this allowed IT Staff to track stocks. When a low stock condition is hit an email would be sent to the manager, allowing them to reorder.

CLEFT - BACS payment system allowed customers to send "protected" spreadsheets of bank payments to individuals written in C  (company Credit Lyonnais)

FRANK this was a system to pay automatically by SWIFT for dealing room deals and auto-matching confirmations, those not matched returned to settlements. Written in C++ (company Credit Lyonnais).

Reuters (RDCDF)- Distributed Reuters rates feeds delivered to all management desktops written in C / C++

CAOS - Citibanks Analytical Option System. Rolled out across the world for analytical option pricing written in C++.

PassBook - Dow Jones Stop/Loss margin trading platform written in C++ and also some Java for the banks' clients to use.

ATTAINS - School Pupil Assessment reporting system.  One (if not the first) coloured reporting system of student attainment.

GateWay? -  MIS system for monitoring Attainment, Apprentices, finances.
